Gil Coggins Better Late Than Never (Smalls) The late Mr. Coggins is probably best remembered from a pair of Miles Davis Blue Note sessions, or perhaps the period he lived in Montreal. This posthumous set is well worth your attention—“Repetition,” “Veird Blues” and “Smooch” are heard to great advantage.
